Great for miniatures and modeling. A little bit goes a long way for the price.
I have super fond memories of using this stuff as a kid with my dad when helping him build his train set and now 30+ years later it still hasn't let me down. Great product, reliable, easy to use, perfect size for miniatures and modeling along with great memories. Plus, depending on your project, this little bag will last forever. A great value!

A little goes a long way. Looks great!
I used this to create a mossy look on Halloween tombstones. I spread some urethane glue on the tombstone and sprinkled this stuff on, and viola! It worked great. I've done 4 tombstones and I still have a lot left.

Good color and size for ground cover
I use this for miniature wargaming bases. Color and size match my vision fairly well.Last ordered several years ago, and since then the price has nearly doubled.

Great for dioramas
Worked better than I expected.I used it for some dioramas I built. They also have a Blended Turf and I don't know how it would compare with this one.I spread some glue on the diorama (styrofoam) and sprinkle the turf of top of it.Waited a couple of minutes and put the excess back into a container. This bag will probably last me forever.

It works.
This stuff does what it is supposed to, but if you want to save some bucks, there are a number of ways you can make this at home from various materials. YouTube has lots of videos showing how you can make your own scenery materials from cheap materials like foam rubber, sawdust, even used tea leaves. Nothing is "free", what you pay for with this product is the time you would otherwise spend making it yourself.
