Hurricane Proof. These have been hanging outside at our Mountain house up in North Carolina and survived the hurricane last year. No problems at all. I have one light that’s out but that’s it. I also installed a dimmer that you can buy on Amazon that these plug into with the remote, and it allows you to customize the lighting, which I highly recommend.

Great lights! The soft white bulbs are a LIITLE bright, but you can always unscrew one or two if needed. They are extremely durable! I accidentally stepped back on one and it didn’t break. It had a dent that you could easily push right out. Easy to hang and they look great! I’m buying a few more sets!

Looks amazing and the size is perfect. It works amazing the the controller is one of, if not the best one I've seen. I havent seen a timer yet so thats on my list but other then that its amazing.

Love the lights on the patio! They are not easily broken but we had a hailstorn with 70 MPH winds ant some of them broke. The customer service was exceptional and gave rapid responsees to my issues. First was a misunderstanding as to what broke and they sent me replacement light bulbs right away but what I needed was the plastic covers for the bulbs. After explaining the problem they immediately shipped out replacement strings of lights. I can't even express how surprised and delighted I am. No hassel, no charge for anything. These guys are great and so are their patio lights.

I ordered these to replace cheap string lights that we had put around our patio for a birthday party. We ended up loving the look of string lights, but the party lights were never meant to last outdoors. We upgraded to these seemingly stronger outdoor lights, hoping that they would survive wind and squirrels (that enjoyed climbing the lines and chewing through the protective party light domes).The larger diameter bulbs did deter squirrel gnawing, and the heavier lines/insulation did survive squirrel climbing. However, this year the wires/lines finally gave out after a heat wave. The string split in two spots where the line connects to the bulb sockets. I suspect heat, wind, and squirrels climbing caused the lines to stress/flex to the point of giving up after two years of service.Buying the WHITE version of this product might reduce line heat wear? Not sure.I was able to repair the string of lights by splicing, but most people won't bother. We've been shorted a critical foot or two, due to removal/repair of two line breaks. We ordered a new set of these lights.

My husband got these for me for Christmas and I LOVE them. They look amazing on our back deck. They came wrapped in smaller bundles so that they were easy to string up without getting tangled.

You may need an outdoor extension cord.The bulbs are very bright on first install. A natural warm-white at 2680 degrees Kelvin. Lumen output is higher than expected at nearly 225 lumens per bulb at full brightness while consuming about one watt of power. That's very efficient.I paired my set with a WiFi dimmer with sunset to sunrise astronomical timing. The bulbs dim to a very low setting, and I have the dimmer set to turn them on at sunset at 1 percent and increase the brightness to 75 percent over 20 minutes. This is a very natural transition and imperceptible through the twilight time, and with an astronomical dimmer, the turn-on and turn-off times automatically adjust as the sunset does throughout the year.A well-written instruction manual is enclosed.
